Everything we wish people would ask before they sign up — and most of what they actually do.
Getting started
4 questions
How does Coop actually work?
You book a 15-min intro, we size the role, and within 48 hours we hand-pick 2–3 VAs from our roster for you to meet. Once you pick one, they start in our platform with time tracking, leave, and AI agents already wired up.
Do I sign a long-term contract?
No. Plans are month-to-month. Cancel anytime. The first 7 days are free — if it isn't a fit, you walk away.
What if my VA doesn't work out?
We replace within 24 hours — on every plan. You only pay for hours actually worked, never for the search.
Where are your VAs based?
Mostly Philippines, Latin America, and South Africa. We match for time-zone overlap with your team — minimum 4 hours of live overlap, or full async if that's your preference.
Pricing & billing
3 questions
How does billing work?
You're invoiced once per month for all hours your VAs logged. VAs are paid bi-weekly — we cover the float. Overage hours bill at your tier's hourly rate, included on the same monthly invoice.
Can I move between tiers?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time. We prorate the difference for the current month.
What about taxes / 1099s?
You don't need to issue 1099s. VAs are contracted through Coop — we handle their compliance, payments, and benefits.
AI agents
3 questions
What are AI agents?
Small autonomous workers your VA can deploy: inbox triage, lead scoring, meeting recap, lead enrichment, calendar drafting. They sit alongside your VA in the same workspace.
Can my VA actually use them?
Yes — that's the whole point. Every Coop VA is trained on the agent library during onboarding. They configure agents from a templates page; no prompting skill required.
Will agents replace my VA?
No. Agents handle the repetitive scaffolding (read this email, score this lead, draft this recap). Your VA does the judgment work and supervises the agents — the combination makes them dramatically more effective.
Security & compliance
3 questions
How do you handle access to my tools?
We use a shared password manager (1Password by default). VAs get role-scoped access; we audit and rotate when someone leaves. SSO available on Enterprise.
NDA / DPA?
Standard NDA on every plan, signed before any access. DPA available on request — Enterprise plans get a custom DPA we negotiate together.
Are you SOC 2 compliant?
Our SOC 2 Type I report is available on request under NDA; Type II is in progress. We'll share the report with current and prospective customers.
