The story

Built from frustration with the status quo

The founders of Coop had each hired VAs through traditional channels — job boards, agencies, referrals — and ran into the same problems every time. Hidden fees, slow matching, no continuity when a VA left, and zero tooling to make the VA actually more effective.

At the same time, AI was changing what was possible. Not replacing people — but dramatically amplifying what one person could do in a day.
